Bruschetta
Toasted bread topped with fresh tomato, garlic and basil.
Origin & Story
Bruschetta dates back to ancient Rome, where it was a way to test freshly pressed olive oil on grilled bread rubbed with garlic. Tomatoes joined the party much later.

Ingredients
- 4 slices rustic bread
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 1 garlic clove
- Fresh basil
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper
Method
- 01
Toast bread slices in a dry pan until golden.

Rub each slice with the raw garlic clove.

Mix diced tomato, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Spoon the tomato over the toast.

Drizzle with extra oil and serve right away.
